I have been reading romance novels for quite a number of years and I have many favorite novels. It should be easy to just pick your favorite romance but with the different genres in the romance field, it is not an easy task. I enjoy reading contemporary, historical, inspirational, paranormal, Scottish, and Irish romances. It all depends on what mood I am in to read which romance genre.

I love reading Nora Roberts and she has written over 100 novels to date. She is an excellent author and has written quite a few best sellers. If I had to pick one of her books, I believe my favorite novel would be Montana Sky. Montana Sky was about three sisters who have the same father, but different mothers, who inherit their father's ranch in Montana. They are shocked to learn that they must stay on the ranch, together, for a full year, in order to inherit. I enjoyed reading this book, because she writes so well and always seems to know her subject.

My next favorite novel would be by a trilogy by Tracie Peterson. She has written a four book series called the Heirs of Montana. It is a historical, set after the Civil War. The first book is called Land of My Heart and is about a family recovering from the Civil War and heading out on a wagon train to travel to Montana and experiencing trouble and tragedy along the way. The second book is called The Coming Storm, the third book is called To Dream Anew and the forth book is called The Hope Within. These books were historical and were very well written.

My next favorite would also be a five book series called the Redemption series. This series was about the Baxter family, a Christian family who, with the help of God in their lives, survived and triumphed over tragedy. The first book was called Redemption, the second was called Remember, the third was called, Return, the forth was called Rejoice and the last one was called Reunion. This series sparked two other series, called the Firstborn series and the Sunrise series.

My next favorite would Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, the first book in a series of novels. This is was about a woman named Claire, who while on her honeymoon, around the time of World War II, in the Scottish Highlands in 1945, finds herself transported back in time to 1743. She encounters troubles and also falls in love with Jamie Fraser, who is a Scottish man who will fight the English in the Jacobite wars. This is one of the best books that I have ever read. I was able to get right into it and hated to have to put it down.

I have so many favorite romance novels but the ones that I listed above are the best that I have ever read. I read such a diverse list of books that it is hard to remember what I have read, but the ones that I have listed above have stuck in my mind. If you wish to have a good book to read, then try the ones I have listed. You will be in for a real treat.
