Poetry: Meaning of life

All thats left is me

When you take away the make up
The lies and the dreams
All thats left is sad little girl that slid between
The lines of society
The hopes of our world
The deception
And in correction
That keeps us as one
What our true exceptions everyone fails to see
Take it all away and all thats left is me

When everyone's given up
Your chance at who you are
When they no longer see you as a diamond
A ruby or a star
When your told your dirt and have nothing left
When you feel you've lost all your breath
When you look around tell me what you see
Open your eyes cause all thats left is me

When the walls become your best friend
When you the last of your happiness begins to end
If you just took one great breath
Maybe it be the end of death
If you could just stand up for once
Then you will find your one true love
But over look that and you will be
The only thing left and that is me
