Well to save money I suggest looking into packages that begin in Sept since this is off-peak. Also, Jet Blue usually is very good about low prices. When reserving a hotel, try the value resorts. They are beautiful. They can accommodate 4 people in a room or Disney Music hotel can accommodate 6 people. These hotels are located on the property and have free shuttle service as well. ANother alternative is to stay a few miles awy at a hotel that offers a KIDS EAT FREE plan. Make suyre there is a free shuttle service. Most hotels have that amenity. This also will be less expensive on the adult meals than eating withinn Disney. ALways eat BEFORE you go to the parks. Try ordering tickets online it may be a better deal. Use caution and contact the Orlando vacation bureau to check on the sites before pruchasing to make sure it is legit. Te soda cups are a good deal if you drink soda alot, however, since I have 4 kids, I purcahse 2 cups only. It is fre refills. They take turns. Also, for the baby I buy 1 gallon of milk and store it in the wastebasket in the bathrub of our room, since there is no refidgerator. We fil it with ice 2 times a day or as needed. I take along a box of cereal. This is a big meal savings for breakfast. Four kids eat about $20 per day on breakfast (figuring $5 per kid). Thats a $100 savings on a 5 day vacation.I feel the park hopper tickets are a wasste of money. A park a day saves some bucks. Make a checklist and pack ahead of time. Forgetting harispray and buying it in Disney will run you about twice the price. ALso you can order pizza to be delivered which wil cost about $20 for a family of average size. This is a greta savings too. Try sticking to the kids menu because kids sometimes try to order from the adult menus as well. If you can, buy a case of water and keep this over ice all night and in the day you can take it to the parks as well. Meals at the parks are ALWAYS more money. Plan a budget or spending limit as well.Go to any Dlooar Store and buy autograph albums becasue the kids will want character autographs. Bring enough batteries - rechargeable batteries will wind up being cheaper in the end. IF you have to get sourveneirs check the sale racks first. You can get great prices on some things that are a little "last season." Florida rain is sometimes quick so avoid leaving the park as soon as it rains. This will only force you back to teh room or shopping where you will spend money on othe things. Make a day out of the park. Hope this helps!
