to the judgment that not only do you have a ghost, but worse yours is bored and wants to mess with you. Of course you have to consider the possibility the only one troubling with your head is your own subconscious. As angry as the suggestion might make you its possible deep down you really wanted to tear the living room apart and put it back together. If your mind wants a break it'll get one by hook or by crook so you should clarify whether this mischief making phantom is internal or external.
Hair pulling, bed clothes tugging, and scratches mean an investigation looking for something small like a nail or pin that's working to snag bed clothes, skin and hair.
If you walk into a certain room in the house and suffer feelings of anger, fear, or depression this could be a sign of paranormal interference. These feelings usually are associated with only certain locations in the house so try to avoid staying in these areas too long as there are reported instances of personality changes. Of course you should also check out the possibility a mood disorder might be the trouble instead of a ghost wanting to share its trauma with you.
Last but certainly not least is as they say seeing dead people. Seeing darting shadows or full body apparitions which fade away or disappear suddenly is certainly a frightening experience to have. Just as with the missing objects make sure this isn't some product of your own imagination if possible.
Once you thoroughly investigated all other explanations for the troubles in your home take some stock. Try to keep in fair humor and good sense. Be careful not to influence the memory of other witnesses with your own experiences. If you live with others without discussing what you've seen or heard sit down and write what you've witnessed while they do the same. Compare notes only once you have everything on paper.
Research the history of your home and the area where you live to find out if any past events could have triggered a haunting. Ghost or no ghost the past regularly impacts on the present. Contact a ghost group in your area to see if they can collaborate what you're experiencing.
One important bit of wisdom we can take from the Black Hope situation is that your home should be a place to enjoy your family and find peace. You shouldn't have to come home to a supernatural battleground. If you are experiencing paranormal events in your home and they don't scare you so much the better. Think of the paranormal as a wild animal which means don't feed it or coax it into doing anything just respect it and leave it alone. On the other hand if you find ghostly events scary then by all means take measures to take back your home. Trying to communicate by using an Ouija board or other method isn't advisable without first getting some advice from experts. Find people who are willing to take you seriously and help you. If all else fails think of finding a new home. As the Haney case points out you can replace anything except your family and your peace of mind.
