Should marriage be a sacred institution between a man and a woman only?

I find it astounding that people would even have to ask this question? First of all God is our creator. God made everything on earth to reproduce after its own kind. This includes people. In the bible it says he created them male and female. In fact the bible says that God took the rib of Adam and fashioned Eve especially for him. God actually took time to create the perfect helpmate for Adam and he called her Eve. From this we see that the perfect mate for a man is a woman. God planned it this way.

One of the first commandments to Adam and Eve from God was to be fruitful and multiply. God created people to reproduce other people. And keep in mind that in the Garden of Eden this could only be done naturally. So if you have two individuals of the same sex together they can not do want God told them to do. They could not reproduce even if they wanted to. In effect, homosexuals are in violation of a direct commandment of God.

I once heard it said to use something for a purpose other then the purpose it was created for is an abuse of that object. For instance you can take a knife and use it as a hammer but you can not do it without damaging the knife. This is because a knife is not and was never intended by its maker to be used as a hammer. In order to get the most out of a thing you have to use it for its intended purpose.

Homosexuals can not reproduce naturally; their bodies were not designed to join naturally. Most people began to notice and be attracted to the opposite sex as teenagers. This is how God designed it. To use your body in a way other than the way God designed to be used is to abuse your body.

Two people of the same sex could come together; but because that is not the way it was designed to work I can't help but believe that someone is going to be damaged emotionally and or physically by the whole situation.

In order to do follow Gods commandment and reproduce the men and women have intercourse. They were designed by God to do this in without a lot of effort or props. They go together naturally. This is the way God planned it.

From the start God had a reason for making Eve for Adam. As I heard it said many times God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. God made them with the equipment and instincts they need to follow his commands. If the first two people had been of the same sex once they died that would have been the end of the human race. Of course God could have made other humans when they died, something he would have to do over and over again. But I believe it was not God's plan to do the same thing over and over. That is why he made everything to produce after its own kind.

Whenever we do things contrary to what God tells us to do chaos and abuse results. Doing something wrong and calling it right does not make it right in the eyes of God. The bible, the word of God, was sent as an instruction manual to let us know God's will for the earth. The instructions concern God's will for humans is clear. He made them male and female.
