Emptiness, loss, desolation
Sadness, gloom, desperation
All feed into the darkness
Left behind when you left
A black hole swallows up my soul
Hollowness encases my spirit
I am stuck in neutral
The past is gone; the present exists in a void
And the future doesn't seem to exist at all
I let you define me
I was yours, heart and soul
Then you left, and I was left an almost empty shell
The only thing that remains is the pain I feel when I think of you.

She just wanted to touch the sky.
All he wanted to do was fly.

I can't listen to the arguing in the next room any longer
