Music trouble
A familiar tune pops up in your head,
And is with you ever since you got out of bed,
You love the rhythym, and want to dance to the beat,
Yet your bound by your duties, and you can't tap your feat.
The sharps and the flats, that diminished chord
Make you grateful for life, so you thank the Lord,
But you cannot stay and listen, you have to follow the rules,
So you put on your backback, and take the bus to your school.
First period in class, you start tapping your feet,
You love that song in your head, so you move to the beat,
Suddenly you snap out of it, because your math teacher said,
" Are you mental boy? What's going on in your head?"
" It's music sir", you reply " There's a song in my brain",
" Well, get it out then", he replied,"And don't do it again!".
" Yes sir", you reply, and you try but don't succeed,
It's like the music that's playing is the air that you breathe!

Let the world have melody,
let it have harmony; let it touch our hearts and our souls.

My brain is misfiring and time's out of whack.
I can't hear the sound, my worlds upside down.
I lost the beat and
