Rating best villains in superhero movies

When it coms down to comic books, we all fall in love with the hero. It has been inbeded in our society that the hero captures most of our hearts. When the chips are down we know that he or she will come to the rescue. But when does the Villain get any credit? There as been many comic book movies in witch I fall in love with the villain more than the actual comic book hero himself. Here are a list of my top five favorite comic book villains. There are to many misses when it comes to comic villains so i jotted down the ones that stick in my mind.

5. Red Skull: Yes Red Skull has not been formally introduced on the main screen yet but his hatred for Caption America is classic.
4. Kingpin: His ''John Gotti'' attitude makes him the most realistic villain. Someone you would actually see in Hells Kitchen. Michael
Clark Duncan did a good job portraying him in the a movie that needed a pick me up.
3. William Striker. X-men two needed a not so poplar villain. So when Brain Cox was cast in the role, I felt that he would complete
or set up more of the Wolverine background.
2. Lex Luther: Classic comic book villain. I could not have casted a better actor than Kevin Spacy. No need for explainations. It's Luther for
christ sake need I say more!
1. The Joker. Big surprise there ! Jack Nicholson's potryal of this Iconic villian, was without a dought amazing. He brought more of a humor
to the role. If he would have been cast in Chris Nolan's The Dark knight, I think people would hesitate to rush out and but tickets. Which
is why Nolan wanted to create a more complex Joker. Thats where Heath Ledger comes in. His vision of joker will take audiences places
they had only dreamed about with this old school villain. The Dark
Knight will take comic book movies to a whole new level just with this classic comic book villain. The Dark Knight will also show what an
amazing tallent Heath Ledger had. Joker will never look the same. With a oscar nomation for BrokeBack mountain, Heath will also
reacieve a nomation for The Dark knight. When you look at a villain durring a trailer and that one five second clip makes your mouth drop
then you know something is right. Damn good job!

Villains are those rare characters that will either make your skin crawl, or make you question if the hero really needed three movie to defeat. With this summer shaping up to bring more comic book movies, we can only wait to see what in store. Many comic book movies come and go but the ones that stick out in our heads are the ones where the villains make you wish someone would come and save the day.
