Your "meaning of life"

The meaning of life to me is to be happy in whatever you do. You should be happy as a person everyday and content with your life. A person should have meaning in their life.

The meaning of life can also include having children and getting married. I personally do not have children and I'm not married. I think the main reason we were put on this earth is to reproduce. We should have someone to carry on our last names when we die.

We should also leave a legacy when we die. We should leave a mark on this world and leave it a better place than it was when we were born. We should volunteer our time when we have it and donate to charities. I know it isn't easy to donate money in these tough economic times. We can donate our time to the less fortunate instead of money.

We should show people respect, compassion and kindness. I also know that isn't always easy to do. We should give people a helping hand when we are able to do so.

I also think we should find careers that make us happy. Since we have to work till we reach retiremant age we might as well be happy doing what we like.We should take the time to enjoy ourselves outside of work. We should spend time with our families outside of work.

People should try to learn something new everyday. We should also try to teach someone something about life everyday in my opinion.I think that being a positive person and working hard will bring meaning to your life. People should try to be in good and solid friendships to add meaning to their lives.

I think trying to live out dreams can add meaning to a person's life. Being able to dream adds meaning to a person's life. People should reach to achieve their personal goals.Fulfilling goals can add value to a person's life.

I think owning material things can enhance your life to a certain extent. It can make you feel like your life is worthwhile and you are accomplishing something. I think owening your own home will ensure that your kids or grandkids will have a place to live when you die.

I think helping to raise a child that is or isn't yours can add meaning to your life. It can help that person to grow up to be somebody. I think planting flowers or trees and watching it grow can add value to your life.

I think being remembered as a good and decent person is the goal to strive for when you are living. Trying to be a good person brings meaning to my life.I think being in law enforcement, teaching and religion brings meaning to a person's life.
