Alone in the darkness
waiting,silent, motionless.
A blanket of cold covers
the womb like an icy shroud.
Water rushing,
the shroud broken
struggle and determination.
Push, push reach for the light,
reach for the warmth.
New sights, new sounds.
Growing, striving, achieving.
Passing of time,
Restrictions binding,
loneliness, darkness.
Waiting, silent, motionless
to begin again.

by Moeze Lalji

The body was raised
From earth
So all Adams and Eves
Return back
