Emergence of food crises is a globals prime issue.The victims of the hiking food prices is none other than low income people or poor.As it is a global problem, every one of us have the responsibility to fight against it.

The sudden hike in the fuel prices driven up the cost of production and increases the tranportation costs for all food.comparetively, the rise of food products increased 75% from the past years.World food programme stated the current sittuation as 'silent tsunami'.Devoloping and under devoloping counries are prime victims of crisis ,especially middle class and poor people.Even for the higher level people who are affordable cannot get the food products as there is a shortage in it.

There is a bitter fact that many part of the world may fall into scarcity of food and drought.There was also heavy demand for bio- fuel.Along with this factor, falling world food stockpills contributs to the rise of food products.The rise in cost of fuel have lifted up the cost of fertilizers.This hightens the cost of grains, crops, cereals etc.We cannot find any alternative for the food we consume,

Rice is the staple food consumed by most of the asians. As the every product price is escalated, we cannot find any substitute food for that.Many countries like India, suspended exporting rice for other to meet their domestic people needs.Counries like India and china having huge agricultural land , gifted by natural resources are facing rising costs.

So think about country like Singapore which depends hugely on other countries for its domestic production cannot meet with public needs.We are paying four times more than the price paid early this year.This drastic changes may cause world hunger as world mostly filled with rural and poor people.Though the government compensate people with other subsidies, its like 'adding a drope to ocean ' for them. The change of world climate is also one of the factor for surge of food cost . Due to irregular monsoon rains ,corps were spoiled and affected the agri products.Crops down due to naturall disaster is also contributed in hike in prices.Milk and meat price have doubled up in recent years.

Due to rise of food prices riots were held up in many part of the world.some experts predicted that this condition may last for next few years.Though it continues, we must lend our hands for the world to overcome. So the government should have a deep insight in to the issue and lower the prices .If not, it must atleast find the alternative ways like increasing wages, devoloping agriculturall products , giving subsidies etc .Rulers must find aternative ways for the welfare of people. This may lead people improve their present situation.
