"The stars above me, look down and one by one they wink
And run off to sleep..
As the sky nudges awake the coming day.
-
The sun stretches and yawns under this sky,
Slowly coming alive
Languorously sprawling across the horizon
-
In my silence, I smile and bathe in the new warmth
Watching in awe
As nature shivers, then bursts into a celebration of colour and sound
-
The sun reaches out to touch each living thing
Energizing the spirit
As it lifts itself from under the blankets of night
-
A brisk morning breeze rushes in, lifting my hair
And like a refreshing shower
Famished, we all greedily lean in for rejuvenation
-
And there! I see the reflection of angels on each wave
Sparkling, waltzing flashes
Dancing to the music and the flow of the ocean
-
In this silent, jubilant orchestration, perfect harmonies
The sun breaks out
Awake and full of such energy, to take the conductors stand
-
Dizzy with joy, I rise to join in the dance
Overflowing with gratitude
To be a tiny part of this enchanting chorus
-
And there, in the flowers, the swaying tree tops
My magical dedication
Echoed by the lyrics of birds, breezes and the waves on the shore
-
The power of the sun, the angels, the glorious colours and sounds of nature
Rush to my soul
For they are drawn to celebrate a more wondrous light
-
Gladly and humbly, I open myself to all of them
Introducing each one
to this energy, this spirit, the peace, this infinite love inside
-
And in ecstasy, giddy in this, your astounding light
They have it wrapped up
Whisked away to be presented singing and dancing rejoicing in the splendor of your spirit
-
And with all of nature, I revel and rejoice in such a love, in you, in me
Each day blissful
For you ARE my sweet angel on earth

The
Now i lay me down to sleep
Ever so softly as not to awaken you
I hear your breath like the soft whisper of the wind
Suddenly
by Phil Cartmel
Once upon an empty shallow night
I took pen to paper with no delight
Pain from old memories past
Left behind like some plaster
by Anita Brown
I'd pick a thousand flowers for you
Everyday we're together, thats what I'd do
To share your beauty, and share your style
Then
by April Sims
Unsure how I lost the way,
how I let you slip by,
how I forgot us
Enamored by unimportant things,
people,
I lost the vision
