Best website on the internet

The best website on the Internet is the website that best serves its viewers. According to Alexa, Yahoo! is ranked as number one. I can see why this is so. First of all, Yahoo! is a web portal that provides a lot of convenience to its user as you can do many thing with it. You can search for something via its search engine; send and receive emails; create your own personal site; take part in discussion forums; and view and submit photos. Lately, Yahoo! has Tagged, a social networking site for you to keep in touch with your current friends, and meet new ones. If you want the latest news, you can read it on Yahoo! itself. You can even sent e-cards on this world famous website. In case you are wondering why I place an exclamation mark on the name, Yahoo, that is its official name. When an English-speaking person is happy with his or her achievement or finally obtains what he or she wants, he or she may shout "Yahoo!" with joy. Therefore, the name Yahoo! is most appropriate for its number one ranking.

The next best website is Google. Although this website seems to have more a popular search engine, it ranks below Yahoo. I guess its because it lacks something that Yahoo! has. For example, it doesn't have a forum that is as user-friendly as Yahoo!'s, and a social networking site like Yahoo!'s. However, in my opinion, Google's strong points are its unlimited space email known as G-mail, and its search engine. Base on my own experience, searching for images on Google is easier than it is on Yahoo!. Searching for videos on Google is also easy as the website provides results from more than one website other than its own very own, YouTube which is next on the list.

The third best website is YouTube. This is the site where members can share their own video, and watch one another's videos. Members can also comment on their fellow members' videos, bookmarked videos as their favorites on their personal pages.

The fourth best website is Windows Live, Microsoft's search engine. Like the previous sites, you can use it to search for websites, videos, and images.

The fifth best website is Microsoft Network(MSN). Like Yahoo! and Google, MSN is also a web portal where users can do many things like reading emails, searching the Internet, and reading the news.

In my opinion, the websites mentioned are the top five because they meet the needs of their users, and help make life much easier with the available tools and facilities. Members of Yahoo, for example, can personalize their pages. The top websites are also available in other languages.
