It's Hard To Be Good When You're a Boy!
Mom said, "You should not be bad all the time try to be good."
I shouldn't be bad to the little girl down the street.
But it is fun to throw bugs at her to see her run.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

I shouldn't get mad and hit my brother.
But it was my toy he broke, and I liked that one.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

I should do my chores each day.
But I have lots of things to see, and I need to play.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

I should sit and listen in class to what the teacher has to say.
But the sun is bright out side I want to run and play.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

I should do my homework when I get home.
But I already sat in class all day.
I need to explore the woods and spy.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

I should eat my vegetables at dinnertime.
But they taste bad even my dog will not eat them.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

I shouldn't tease the cat and dog.
But it is fun to watch them get mad and fight.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

I should clean my room.
But there is a baseball game in the park.
I play first base.
It's hard to be good when you are a boy!

I should help mom clean the table.
But Spiderman is on TV.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

I should see if I could help dad in the workshop.
But it is getting late and I want to ride my bike.
It's hard being good when you're a boy!

Boys are strong and brave.
Boys are wonders and dreamers.
Boys like to tease and torment.
Boys have a mind of their own.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

I should take my bath and get ready for bed.
But I am having fun with my train set.
It's hard to be good when you're a boy!

My mom is right I should try to be good.
I'll try tomorrow. It's to late tonight.
