For some, going through a spiritual awakening is supposed to be bliss, where you recognize God, get all of the faith in the world and recognize your purpose in life. However, this particular illusion towards what it takes to be spiritual is one that is only recognized at certain pivotal points that lead to more transitions that are needed in order to recognize our true self that are from both sides of the coin.
In order to understand what happens during spiritual awakening is also the need to understand what a spiritual awakening is. Some spiritual gurus call this the DNA re-coding process and others call it recognizing the higher self. The main thing is to begin to awaken the inner eyes and spirit that is inside all of us. Through this, we can recognize our purpose and begin to apply our spiritual characteristics into daily practice. This means that everything we do starts with the inner self, then moves into the outer reality of what we have created in our minds and hearts.
As pleasant as this seems, and as much as we should all be striving for it, there are particular shifts that need to happen when going through a spiritual awakening. Basically, in order to be effective in recognizing higher nature, we have to get rid of all of the baggage that we've been taught, not only this time around, but with what has been engrained into our souls for lifetimes. That means that, everything we've been told from the time we were born, we have to bring into question and begin to work on ourselves in order to define what is true and what is not.
In the end, spiritual awakening includes going through phases of anger, sadness, depression, questioning and contemplation of everything in our lives. Physically, things such as money transfers, changes in relationships, career alterations and changes in lifestyle will continue to be present in order to get one to recognize what is really happening. Beyond this, the re-coding process includes moving into the unknown realms that we may have never thought of and trying to contemplate the new and the unseen. It takes immense faith, belief and the desire to completely transform over.
So, with the shared thoughts of the idea of spiritual awakening is the recognition that this complete transformation is one that leads to enlightenment by not being held down by the false illusions, pretenses and ideals of spirituality that one may have. The process is one that includes the need to work on ourselves and to recognize who we are and what we have learned and to move beyond this into a deeper realm of understanding that contains truth and spiritual peace.
While the process may not be as most think, the end of the narrow path is one that leads to truth, integrity and sincerity in who we really are. And this, can not be compensated for anything that we go through.
