THE SPEED OF DARK
Undefeated!
The prospects of light are dim
With respect to dark's boundaries.
Dark's endurance is limitless
While light's will certainly burn out.
How can something as fast as light
Out run something as vast as dark?
Especially when dark starts
At the finish line?
No,
Not even the brightest star
Can out shine the darkness of space.
It can only be overcome by it;
Just like all the infinite others
That have tried,
And lost.
