LOOKING FOR FURNITURE
Love,
Is like a red couch.
You see
This one time I went out...
Looking for furniture.
I had just bought my first house.
Walked into the front door
Of the furniture store,
And there she was
In the middle of the show room floor.
She had the most beautiful
Dark, red tan I ever saw.
I stood in awe
For a moment.
Then sat down and emersed myself
In her soft curves,
And finally built up the nerve
To ask;
At what cost might I have?
She told me,
No money down,
If I waited around
No interest for a year,
And to hear this
From my dear's mouth,
Sure did make a sweet sound.
So I hung around.
Astounded,
By the deal that I'd made.
But much to my dismay
When that year came up,
I fully understood the consequences
Of the deal that was struck.
And you know what?
That dark red began to fade.
So please,
Remember to read the fine print
Next time before your money's spent;
Otherwise,
I promise you'll regret it.
Then you'll spend the next few years
Like I did,
Walking around,
With some

I'm trying so hard to move on,
I'm trying to just forget
