in my dreams I see you
then i awake to an empty bed
in my arms I feel you
Even though your really dead
it's been a couple years now
since the night you died
the pain and the heartache
I thought wouldn't subside
but now it's been a long long while
and it doesn't hurt so bad
I'm going to move on now
so I have to let you go
but before I do that
I want to let you know

your smiling face seemed always
to brighten my darkest days
you always seemed to make me laugh
before you went away

everytime I see your face
my heart just keeps a'breakin
I have to move on now
I just can't take the pain
I need to find someone else
to brighten all my days

Even though it hurts so much
just to walk away
it would hurt a lot lot more
if I were to stay

I love you and I always will
but I hope you understand
my life has only just begun
I need to move along
So now it's time to let you go
I'll see you in my end

in my dreams i still see you
but there is no more pain
You made me so much stronger
I thank you my dearest love

Just remember that I love you
and that I always will
I will never forget your smiling face
or the way you made me smile

I know you want me happy
so that's exactly what I'll do
i'll love someone else
but they will never be you
