When it comes to finding cosmetics on a budget, most of us are one to try anything. Most of the time, you're shopping your local department store, looking for a product that gives you more bang for the buck. Being one to embrace the adventure of trying new things, you pick up the cheaper product while passing the more expensive name brand product by. More often, the cheaper brands come up short, either disappointing in the sheer size and amount or product, or in the quality. However, there are a few up and coming brands that are right under your nose, that offer the same quality as the name brands for a lot less dough!

A true diamond in the rough is the Eyes Lips Face brand of cosmetics. You can find these products at select stores (such as Meijer's) or online at www.eyeslipsface.com. At first, I passed the selection by, thinking its just another typical cheap makeup product, which would result in creased eyeshadow, fading lipcolor, or more ultimately, a zit! Then I actually saw the makeup featured in a few magazines. Thats when I knew I had to try it out. The products were only a dollar each, yes, you heard me correctly, a dollar each. What did I have to lose? Once I had actually tried the products, I was sold. I got online the next day, and ordered thirty products, each a dollar a piece. There was not a bad product in the bunch. You can even buy beauty tools and brushes for a dollar. The brand just came out with a new minerals line, which ranges from four to eight dollars. You can buy a complete look, such as a smokey-eyes kit, manicure kit, lot of five lip plumpers, etc. for just five dollars each. This is the best kept makeup secret. Products are fairly decent sized, and of great quality. If you sign up for their online community, they usually sent you offers and incentives a few times a month!

Rimmel London is another brand that offers modern day products at great prices. The offer all the trendy colors, and cosmetics as the name brands. Rimmel is quickly making a big name for itself. You can find the products in stores such as Wal-Mart, or even online. They use Teflon in their mascara and nail products, creating a great lasting, no smear or chip look. Top notch products for a cheap price, you can usually get a great product from anywhere from two dollars to six dollars. Also, some stores offer in store coupons and deals on these products, you can also find coupons for products in many magazines and coupon books.

These are just a few brands for those bargain girls out there. Each brand is reputable, and known to give you products that are high quality to make you look your best. These brands offer a vast selection of cosmetics for every skin type or color preference. Shop up, for pennies on the dollar these brands are a steal.
