We can't completely turn back the hands of time, but there are many inexpensive ways to looking younger. You don't need Botox or a surgical operation, nor do you need expensive creams and lotions that don't work, as they only plump up the skin for a little while.
About three years ago I started to think about getting older, and I know we have to, but I did not want to look older than I needed to. I decided I needed to do something about it. Here are some of the things I do to keep me looking as youthful as possible. By the way I just turned 49 this past April.
Tips for looking younger.
Diet is important. Eating right really helps to keep you looking younger, try eating organic foods whenever possible, as there are no chemical additives. I would suggest things like nuts, seeds, whole grains, spinach, carrots, cauliflower, banana, oranges etc., are very good for you. By the way Blueberries are one of the best fruits to eat as they are loaded with antioxidants which destroy free radicals and cause aging. Instead of drinking soda switch to fruit juices, soda has just way to much sugar in it. A well balanced diet is really important to maintaining proper metabolism. Drink a lot of water as water flushes out the toxins in the body. You should drink at least the recommended amount of water each day, which is 8 glasses. You need to hydrate the skin by drinking water. Maintaining body weight is important, as fluctuating weight can wreak havoc with the face, and cause wrinkles as well as loose skin and a double saggy neck.
Avoid drinking a lot of alcohol as this really does age the skin. Quit Smoking! I know it's hard, but smoking restricts blood flow, and creates wrinkles.
Regular exercise is great for antiaging, as it gets the blood flowing and flushes out toxins, not only does the face need exercise, the body does as well.
The sun is bad for the skin, so protect your skin and try to stay out of the sun. It is well known the sun speeds up the aging process, you should use a good sunscreen lotion if you will be in the sun.
Vitamin E is also helpful in slowing the aging process and will aid in tissue repair. You can eat foods that are rich in vitamin E and take E supplements as well.
You can apply vitamin E oil to the face and neck. You need to moisturize your face, it does not matter what type of skin you have, you still need to moisturize the skin.
