I was outraged to see that some people actually had a post under the "no" side of this debate! God is the source of life and the one honestly that wakes you up every morning. He is to be feared and this is the least we can do in return for what he does for us; even those who do not love him.
Men do not know about half of what they deal with on a daily basis in this world, however this article should enlighten readers in some form or fashion.
In this world, probably half of what men do is influenced by some form of spiritual being. Why do some men have desires to kill, their own brothers, why are some hooked on pornography and sex, why is it that some men try their hardest to prevent themselves from committing an act however, they ultimately find themselves regretting what they did. On the contrary, why is it that some men are drawn to do well for the welfare of mankind, why would a man lend a helping hand to a complete stranger. Yes there is a natural factor behind this behavior however the spiritual beings which roam the earth are often assigned to make men act in specific ways, whether it may be to send you to the opportunity of a lifetime or to take the life of another human being.
My brother once made a comment to me which made quite a bit of sense when I thought it over. He said to me that to prove that there is a God, simply analyze the fact that men since the dawn of time have argued over what was considered good and what was evil. The mere fact that there is evil proves that there is something to oppose it else it would not be considered evil. Therefore there must be a head or leader of each side.
Men, do have the urge to naturally commit sinful acts however, there is an extreme which no man can conceive simply on his/her own. It can be found in Ephesians chap. 6 verse 12 of the Holy Bible, a quote which goes something like this: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." This verse explains clearly that all our actions are not natural however, our conscience which people say has a good and evil side are "spiritual wickedness in high places" wrestling with the righteous influences which God has assigned to protect his children from spiritual attacks.
To prevent oneself from being attacked or influenced by demons, God has told his people to fear him, not meaning that he wants to bully you around but to show him reverence, homage, respect and love; and in return he will love you as his own child who is dear and important to him. Never question yourself about the fact that there are millions of people in the world and how can God deal with all of mankind.' God has told me to tell you that there is nothing to hard or impossible for him to do, he is all knowing, all being and all doing.
God wants to treat you as his own but finds this hard to for a child who constantly disobeys his word and goes about making terrible comments about him. He can be a friend, a provider, a protector and much more. So I urge men all around the world to start showing God the reverence which he deserves because very soon Jesus is going to return to take with him his children that have loved and obeyed his word. We see every day, prophesies of Revelation coming to pass so man should really start pulling themselves together.
