The Hell in Hello
speaks like stutters
turn to stone
makes you cough
makes you choke
clear your throat
like when you're nervous
clear your throat
sweaty palms
you lost your hold
shifting eyes
you look away
scratch your face
like when you're nervous
scratch your face
dry tongue
hands shake
hold your breath
and shuffle step
you walk away
like when you're nervous
you walk away

I do not know why

by Bianca Lopez
You fake a smile to get past the,
"What's wrong?"
The "Want to talk?"
And the long lectures you've heard
a million
