Depression Hurts
Grips me like a straight jacket.
Can't breathe.
Causes so much pain, anguish, and sadness.
No one seems to understand.
I cry, then cry some more.
I sleep like there is nothing else in life.
People look at me like I'm crazy.
I can't hardly speak, .
The words that I do speak come out harsh.
Can any one help me?
I need to get to get off the couch.
I need some fresh air.
The thought only wears me out.
I lay until I have no strength.
My legs won't hold me up anymore.
My children give up trying.
Life passes me by.
Is there anybody out there?
Can anybody hear me?
I'm in so much grief.
It hurts, Depression hurts.

Last night I dreamed that I was dead

Drugs flowing freely into the minds of people whose thought processes

You know that hangdog feeling
When life's kicked you in the crutch,
When the world seems ranged against you
And to breathe
by CanCan
There you are in the mirror again
Looking for hope and even a friend
The blemishes you find that no one else sees
You cry in
A shadow flees through the night
Swift and stealthy
A demon
with glowing red eyes
She stops
in front of a bistro
Moves in,
closing
