The sun on my shoulders
Feels like your hands
Capable yet gentle
As if afraid that you could break me
Or afraid I will find how much you love your hands on my shoulders
The cold silky sand beneath my feet
Feels like your hair
Rippling in the never ending calamity
Shining in the light
Embedded in my memory
The wind in my face
Feels like your warm kiss
Which you are in a great hurry to give me
Before the moment slips away
And I in turn look away
The waves that surround me
Feel like my love for you
Always the same
Never apologizing for maintaining their shape
My love for you will cease when they do
