Poetry: Liars

Well, I have.

I've met some liars in my time,
but no lie stood as long as yours,
now I know lying ain't a crime,
you taught me that with Santa Claus,

but surely there's a time and place,
when lies and tales cannot go on,
and it is written on your face,
that all you do is just a con.

So give it up and yield the truth,
before I prove you wrong to all,
you don't want me to offer proof,
and leave you looking very small.
