Don't catch me
I fall to the ground like many times before.
you reach your hands out so I don't hit the floor.
However, these times are different. I am much more stronger.
The comfort from you I crave are no longer.
Watching what I am saying or reacting to you
Hunnie, dont worry about me, you have more to lose.
I am a big girl now and can look after me.
I no longer think about what used to be.
Maybe I still make you think a thought once or twice
I like to keep you thinking, that's why I play nice.
You over think what I say and do, I know not to touch.
However, you are still watching over me way to much.
I treat you like a friend because that's what you are.
You let it bother you like your some kind of rock star.
It bothers me 'cause you let the way I act bother you
this feeling that I am having is way overdue.
No need to stop me if you think I am reacting in a special way
Your nothing special to me, however in my heart you will always stay.
So when I tickle you once or twice it means nothing more
I am not going to take you down and pin you down to the floor.

Just a memory of your face
The quietest of images
A whisper of the place.

Breakup: An Explanation
What you are not, my dear, is a flame
that starts in my sternum and sends smoke
through my pores.
What
The files are sealed
The vaults are closed
I wait, new chapters to unfold
I've shed some tears
I've cried the past
But future's
