If God willed all
Did He cast adrift
Our world so large
That even He will not lift?
If God wills all
Why does He not lift
This world off course
That He cast adrift?
If mankind's will
Does counter God's
Then is prayer futile
Does it reduce the odds
That we His children
Lose His loving Gaze,
Because we mostly go
Our selfish ways?
Or is it true
That free will's perks
Give us the choice
To do God's works
And while we hope
That there is a Plan,
Does God look elsewhere
For a better man?

This
by Ed Ostrom
O Lord I seek You with all my heart,
Come, Your Spirit to me now impart,
Here with me come and dwell,
So all with my soul will
As I awaken every day,
Your will be done, I hear me say.
Whatever you wish for me I will do.
I am waiting to be instructed
by Peter Menkin
