Having recently watched various funny films over Christmas, (repeated sooo many times, but less suicidal than watching the ever cheerful Christmas soap storylines!) I would like to share my favourites:
Freaky Friday: Yes, I know it's a remake of an old movie, but this version has so much life in it! Jamie Lee Curtis is hilarious as a Mental Health Proffesional who switches bodies with her wayward daughter (Lindsay Lohan) with hilarious consequences!
40 Year Old Virgin: A crude, ultra funny movie about a man who is still a virgin at the age of 40, who unwittingly admits this to his colleauges (typically lads!), who take it upon themselves to get him some 'action'. This film has some absolutely madcap moments, and as you can imagine, is sometimes gross and rude!
Wedding Crashers: Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson star as 2 men that crash weddings in order to sleep with women! However the film gets going when they crash a very large wedding and end up staying with the family. There is some great comedy in this film, particulary at the dinner table, when Grandma gets foul-mouthed and Vince Vaughn gets some hand relief under the table from the scarily mad Isla Fisher!
I'm sure there's many more films I could have wrote about, but I now have cramped fingers!
