Is a sign of sanity knowing that you're crazy?
Is being crazy thinking that you're perfect?
If someone asked me "What is being crazy?" I honestly couldn't answer them.
If someone asked me if I thought I was psychologically unfit, I could honestly say "Yes, I do think I'm psychologically unfit".
If someone asked me why i thought it I could tell them all the weird thoughts that go through my mind, but they wouldn't understand. So therefore, what is the definition of craziness?
Some people go to a doctor and ask the doctor if they are crazy. I would like to know how the hell would a doctor know if you're sane.
The doctor does not enter your mind and feel what you are feeling. He doesn't think how you think, so how would he know? In fact, you don't even know if the Doctor is mentally stable. Yes the qualifications on the wall look lovely, but do they tell us what the Doctor thinks?
Do those certificates tell us whether or not the Doctor has strange thoughts? No.
Darkness drips from the ceiling of these walls, and soon the room starts closing in.
Does that mean I'm crazy? Or does it mean that I tried to paint the room black and now it looks smaller?
I used to ask my mum "Mum, I think I might be psychologically unwell, can i get a test?"
She used to say "Don't be silly". She also used to joke about me to her friends. I don't know how she thinks neglection and public humiliation are going to cure my depression, paranoia and self-hatred, but one thing it does show me. I can never talk to my mother about anything serious.
I would never tell my father how i feel. I barely see him 5 times a year, and when I do I barely share two sentences with him. Yet sometimes its when we don't talk, that we have so much to say.
I will ask "What is crazy?" and I'll see how many different answers I get. Everybody has their own definition. So if you think you're depressed and need some medication from a Doctor go ahead. But do not go to any else to tell you you're crazy. Yes, the nerves in your brain might be similar to those of a serial killer, but that doen't mean you're going to kill anyone. So why are you given this medication? To keep you calm? You've never even been in a fight. But I suppose your parents would say it's because of the medication.
Do not let anyone tell you you're crazy. The only thing that tells you that is the voices in your head.
