Poetry: Enlightenment

Ajna And The Hibernation

She weeps to see her wisest children
blind to brilliant skies of azurite;
as the winter of reality
keeps precious limbs from profound light.

Between the barren boughs tangled,
lucidity falls from angel heights;
warming birch and ash to thaw

with the scent of cloven roses
infusing the night wind

...asking them to open,
within roughened cradles where they sleep;
to see beyond what they know

...into her borders of sacred indigo.

To reach past cauchemar,
where branches sketch abstract calm
in joined twigs and jasper stars.

Far above, the third fire glows,
with sapphire embers in silent flight;

easing umbered trunks and ageless hearts
with the deep insight of Ajna's arch.
