Brilliant dazzling colors
Grace the countryside
Explosions of real life beauty
Only nature can provide
With crisper nights and cooler days
We know what lays ahead
The still coldness of a winter
After the beauty has been shed
Ironic as it seems to most
True beauty leads to death
Transient and fragile
So is life and love and breadth
What we hold within our hands
See with our own eyes
Cannot be guaranteed forever
Beauty wears a fool's disguise
It baits you then it lures you
Into a reality that's false
Even if the music's playing
Alone you cannot waltz
