When I get up in the morning and look outside to find a black bear in my tree, I call in 911; and in great detail I'll report it as I see it, and call it for what it is. The idea of advancement can be determined in what we are actively looking at. Just call it for what it is, as long as it's kept in the right concept; so that we- "GOD forbid"- don't take anything out of context. The idea of advancing, as far as the Black person goes would be like advancing from slave to citizen, from citizen to brother, from brother to father, from father to GOD, just like any other red blooded American. Right now, as we speak, there is Internet opportunities available to ontipeneurs that can with perseverance create for themselves a magnificent income. The greatest thing about this is that it doesn't matter if they are male or female, it doesn't matter if they are black or white, and finally it doesn't matter if they were young or old! Not only has the black community advanced, but also for the first time in their somewhat torrid history, they are in a nation that extends an equal shake and opportunity for anyone anywhere.

We cannot overlook the other colored skin races that make up this advancement we are talking about, and how everyone together make it all happen so magnificently. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored people does not need a name change, it needs to be called what it is, and once and for all close it down. With the idea of any further advancement offered to the black community, is just plain old dominance, and this is why this name cannot be changed. It needs to be remembered for what it once stood for, and just close that chapter of history. We should open up a totally new National Association to be for the advancement of the American, which in broader terms would reflect to what we are all looking at, and not just what a small segment of Americans are dreaming about.

When it comes to extremist groups and pollarded associations, I believe we are all at the point to where we can identify these groups, and not saying these things are wrong; I'm just saying that it cannot be a National Association, because it doesn't give everyone an equal shake. Since we are no longer in those days of oppression, we can't leave behind the heritage and history, and we know it has its place along with the Germans, the Irish, the Italians and the Chinese, not to mention the Mexican and Puerto-Rican, and anybody else that calls themselves Americans. We should let The National Association for the "Advancement" of Colored People keep it's name, so that we can close it down once and for all, and let every American that hears that name mentioned will stand for a closed chapter of a once needed organization
