It was June 15th 2004. Hannah had just snuck out of her house to meet her current boyfriend, Darren. To her he was the perfect man. He had spiky, golden hair and dreamy, deep-sea blue eyes. Although he was six years older than her, she didn't see it being a problem, as it made a change from the immature boys her age, she went out with. She met Darren at a club a few weeks back, and was flattered when he finally asked her to share the last dance. The moment he stroked her hand, and looked into her eyes she was convinced he was the only man for her.
She slowly opened the window, and leapt into the large oak tree outside. Hannah was excited about seeing Darren, because it was their month anniversary and Darren said he had something special planned. The thought that he wanted to meet her so late, in a secluded area didn't seem to cross Hannah's mind.
Finally, when Hannah reached her destination, Darren reached out his arms. With a warming smile, Hannah ran towards him, her arms stretching, ready to hold on to him, but as she got closer he reached out his unclenched palm, and smack. Hannah fell to the ground, and tear of confusion came running down her red, stinging cheek.
"You slag, what do you think you're wearing? Do you know what kind of people there are living around here? Now get up!" Darren snapped, pulling Hannah up to her feet, almost dislocating her wrist.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I never meant to upset you. I just wanted to look nice for you." Hannah cried in desperation, whilst nervously looking at the faded look in Darren's eyes. She knew she didn't look like a slag' but she didn't want to risk losing Darren.
"I'm sorry for snapping at you, it's just that I love you, and it's for the best that I'm hard on you. I don't want you to go astray, that's all." Darren explained, whilst hugging her.
"I forgive you. I wouldn't want to lose you. I love you."
Darren carried on kissing and hugging Hannah. She was scared at first, but when she heard Darren say I love you' she thought it would all be alright.
Later, Darren went to get some alcohol, and returned to Hannah. Hannah wasn't usually one to drink, but Darren somehow intimidated her into drinking it. Hannah took the bottle of clear liquid. It wasn't in the usual bottle you buy it in, so who's to know what was really in it? However, she took the bottle from Darren, and tipped the worn, plastic bottle toward the back of her throat and swallowed the drink with a big gulp. She stepped back suddenly, as it sharply burned
