Poetry: Addiction

by Danita Jolly

Created on: June 11, 2008

Before you know your addicted
I'll seep into your brain
I'll run right through your vein
You'll think it's all ok
You'll never feel the pain.

You see red, but can't stop
You wouldn't even want to
It's not as bad as you think
At least that's what I tell you

You might just stick around
You might just ask for more
You need what I can give you
I love to be adored.
