Your heart starts to beat
like it has never before
when you see that he's coming
straight towards you.
Last minute hair-check,
and a deep breath of air-
he's here now.
With a smile and a hug
that you savor.
He doesn't know, he'd never guess
how much you love to hear
that voice.
And it doesn't matter,
it's really ok,
that he's just a friend.
Because...

You can hope, you can dream,
that things'll change,
but you know that it wouldn't line up.
So let him sit close
and talk all he wants.
Because it's heaven for you,
and he'll never know.
