How to do away with Debt'
Don't let your debts overwhelm you..
Are you in debt? Has it made your life miserable? If it has, then it will make no more; because the following techniques and measures will help you a lot to escape out of your liabilities. What leads us to success is our management or the way we organize and devise our work. If you are fulfilled with this quality, then believe me, there will be no stopping coming our way.
Debt is not bad as we believe. It allows people and organizations to do things that they wouldn't do if they are out of cash; but yes; if they are overwhelmed by their debts, it may exacerbate their financial problems.
Some helpful and useful techniques to get rid of debt are:
1- Find way to increase Income Income can be increased by actively preferring a high paying job or getting a raise in salary. Along with your appointed job, start up a secondary job or a side business. If you have skills related to music, writing, magic, etc., then go on!
2- Don't overpay your debts After earning sufficient income for your debts, never try to overpay your liabilities. Instead of doing this, leave enough money for your regular expenses. Remember, once you overpaid your debts, you might feel the need for borrowing more money.
3- Make a Budget While forming a budget, be honest and form a realistic budget. Take a lion's share out of your income for paying debts. Think for the expenses coming up in the future, plan for them, and save some part for your expected expenses.
4- Create an Emergency Fund Save a part of your earning for an emergency fund for unexpected expenses, like, treatment of your ailment, medicines, etc. If you don't save for these expenses, they might compel you to borrow money again. In a nutshell, save something for the rainy day!
5- Say NO' to Credit Cards One of our weaknesses is that we easily and happily rely on credit cards. We don't feel the heat when using our credit card, as we feel in spending our cash. This is because we become lavish by the continuous use of credit cards.
So if you cannot control your spending on credit, then cut up your credit cards and only rely on your cash in hand.
6- Adopt a frugal lifestyle Do you think before you buy something or you just simply pick things up? Ask yourself if you are frugal or lavish? Do you spend excessive amount of money to showoff to others?
We, for example, at a shopping mall, think that we do need a lot of stuff. But in reality, we do not need that extra stuff. Try to cut out your excessive spending. These few sacrifices really help a lot in getting us out of our debt.
7- Stop borrowing money This means no more loans, no more credit cards, no more cash advances, etc. If you can't afford to buy something with your cash in hand, then forget it and tell yourself that it is of no need to you and you cannot buy it.
We, by following these tips, can really make a difference. These tips enable a person to manage his expenditures and do get rid of the debts that he or she is facing. Of course, it is not easy for a lavish one to do it easily; but if he really wants to eliminate the stress and burden of debt, he has to do it.
