I have read a few articles that make out religion as something that man made up simply for the money and power. Something he created as a sort of guideline on how to be good. These were obviously written by people who do not believe in God. By those who might have read books or articles about Christianity but have never experienced it at heart.

What if God does exist? Oh but this would change everything then wouldnt it? This would make it obvious where religion comes from. It would come from God! It would be the rules that God has laid down for us to follow. Then one might argue, why are there so many different religions then? That is also simple. If one believes in God, then one must believe in Satan as well. Simply put, Satan's greatest desire is to keep us away from God and out of heaven. What is the best way to do this? Create other religions! Some very different and some very similar to what God laid down. Yet all of them are meant to keep us from heaven because they teach rules that are different from what God said.

I have also read articles putting Christianity down as nothing more than a power and money hungry religion. This is one person who has never known a true Christian for the bible preaches opposite of that. Jesus himself said it is easier for a rich man to fit through the eye of a needle than to enter the kingdom of heaven, simply because his money is too important to him. Now I do not deny there are some bad churches out there and a lot of very greedy preachers. Yet why do people accept the behavior of some bad christians to symbolize all of Christianity? I had a black roomate steal my paycheck and split, leaving me with no money for rent once. Should I say all black people are thieves? Most seriel killers have been white. Does this say all whites are murderers? I have read numerous articles about star athletes who have beaten their wives. Does this mean all athletes are wife beaters? If I claimed any one of these things the world would look down on me, but it is completely acceptable to say all christianity is from greed because of a few bad preachers. Just for that persons information? My wife who is a house keeper for multi-millionaires. This couple believes in God and didnt even think of the people that work for them during Christmas. Another lady who works there as well knew we were financially hurting. She sent us a Christmas card with a check for a thousand dollars in it. She said it was Gods money and he wants her to give it to us. Though
