There are a lot of things in history that have led up to men being the way they are. As a woman, this may sound crazy, but a lot of what is wrong with guys can be blamed on women.

It used to be that women would stay home, cook, clean. The husbands would go out to work. The women would cater to the man's every need. The man and the woman would wait until marriage to have sex. Women were very careful about even kissing on the first date. Women were not allowed to vote. They had no rights in the law's eyes. The laws favored men in divorce and custody laws. Women had no property rights. Women were not allowed to be in professions such as medicine or law. They could work certain jobs, but only at a small fragment of what a man was being paid. Women were robbed of their rights and were dependent on men. You wouldn't hear about how awful men were during this period. You wouldn't hear about the woman was working and the man sat around all day. You wouldn't hear about how your husband cheated on you with someone they met on Craig list looking for a good time. The world was going along smoothly, at least for the men.

Then there was the women's movement. In the 1940s and 1950s, the war had brought more women into the workforce. The women fought hard for the welfare system to protect those who needed it the most.

In the 60s and 70s, there were a large number of women in the workforce. There was also the introduction to the Pill. With these two things going on in society, women's roles changed in the family. Women demanded equal pay, as well as many other rights that they didn't have.

In present day, in the United States, women are allowed to any job they want. They are not forced to settle down with a man. A lot of women are choosing to never get married. They don't need to. They can work, take care of themselves in every way, and don't need to be dependent on man to survive.

Women have needs and desires, just as men do. They will have no problem just sleeping with a man one night and never speaking to him again. They have no problem sleeping with a stranger that may or may not be married. This is one of the reasons that men are so "wrong" now.

Some women want a man to be faithful to them and them only. It's hard to stay faithful when there are so many willing women out there to sleep with. This would not have happened years ago when women weren't as willing to have sex with men.
