Recognizing real-life heroes

If I were to tell this story any more someone, would more than like tape up my mouth? Nevertheless, here it is again.

Once upon a time, I lived in area in Ohio, that most people would call GHETTO. There was a beautiful princess who at the age of 20 something, already had four children (I know if she ever read this article, she will know who I am writing about and who I am, oh well! Let the truth be told!).

Well, after a wicked old queen moved into the neighborhood, the princess mother felt the mean queen would make a good godmother. The princess in turn named the wicked queen her children godmother. Now these two families live directly across the street from one another, so every so often the goddaughter would bring her children across to play in the fence in yard.

Now, every time the princess comes to the yard there was the ugly toad that would follow her. This toad in her opinion was good for nothing, a crack head (this he was) and just low down. Come rain or shine the toad would follow the princess. He would ask her everyday for a date. She would curse him and send him on his way.

Then one beautiful summer day the toad approached the princess again. He begged and pledged just to take her out once. Just once and I will not ask you any more. Well the princess who was, maybe PMS Ing became infuriated. She told the toad to get away from her and to never again approach her. However, the toad had to keep trying. The princesses in turn reach into the bottom of her guts and spitted on the toad. Well, that was the last straw for the toad, he went away. I talked to the princess on what she had done and how wrong it was. Oh, she did not want to hear no parts of that.

That year with all the other seasons brought winter. You know how we do it. A big live tree and plenty of lights. One castle has enough lights for three houses. Well there was some rumbling and tumbling and whole lot of fire at the princess castle a few nights before Christmas. The castle was full of smoke and heat. The princess, parents, and other two siblings grabbed what they could feel. After assembling in the courtyard, they discover that two was not there.

The fire and heat was so intense that the fire fighters did not dare to re-enter. All the courtyard could do was to drop to our knees.

And, like an angel of life through all the heat and fire, came the toad with two arm babies a tow. A MAN who has been kicked and dragged through the mud. A MAN who has been lied on and shamed. We never found out how he was in the area or how he got inside, but a hero he is until the day he die.

Kissing a toad could mean kissing a hero. We always need another hero.
P. S. note This toad name is Andre, in Cleveland, oh, in the Hulda area.
