A young man was waiting for someone to let him into work when he noticed a squirrel staring at him, this was the third morning a squirrel sat there looking at him and it was beginning to annoy him so he threw a stone at it.

Scratch had spent the last three days studying the Giants and now was sure he knew all he needed to know, it threw a stone and managed to hit his head.

Coming too Scratch decided it was time to call the meeting, he headed to the Meeting Oak and waited the few days needed for everyone he had sent for arrived. They had come from as far as London and Scotland, the Meeting Oak was filled to capacity never in all of history had so many squirrels met in one place before and they where all here to see him, here to listen to him, his chest filled with pride. Taking his place at the head of the hall Scratch waited for them all to be silent, finally he spoke. "For too long we have lived in the shadow of the Giants, ran away in fear, but I say no more. For some time I have watched them, learned about them. I have learned that they are soft, they are weak and they ARE AFRAID OF US. Now is the time to strike, by the change of the season all will be ours." He stood back nervous, what if they don't believe him.
After a short length of time the few squirrels he had placed before hand started clapping, this started the ones nearby clapping till the whole hall joined in, then all where cheering. If they where confused or against him before they now believed in him.

The weeks that followed flew by in a frenzy of activity, Scratch had organised them all into two groups, one went on as normal so as not to arouse any suspicion in the Giants while the other half worked hard on a large arsenal of weapons. Finally they where ready. The first wave hit the Giants at six o'clock Thursday morning, taken by surprise they gave ground quickly. The bodies of the Giants started to mount up, the splinters and acorns used by the squirrels proved to be deadly to the Giants. By midday Scratch heard about the first squirrel casualties , this was something he was hope would not happen.
By the time the Giants started to use their big tins the squirrels held Scotland and Wales, the big tins inflicted heavy casualties on them until Scratch's own brother risked his life to show them how to take them down.

Five days after it all started Scratch walked proudly down the road confident that there where no Giants left in the world, London took the longest to fall but after that everything fell into place. Something from one of the Giants tall nest hit him on the head.

A young man was waiting for someone to let him into work when he noticed a squirrel staring at him, this was the third morning a squirrel sat there looking at him and it was beginning to annoy him so he threw a stone at it and hit its head, "Who's the man." after a little while it woke up and ran off, straight under the wheels of a truck.

Two squirrels where sitting in a nearby tree watching Scratch till his end, "Hey wasn't that Scratch?" the other one nodded "I always knew he would be destined for big things." the other took a nut from his mouth "Yeah he was, a truck."
