Fun Father's Day activities for kids

Since Father's Day is all about that Dad, why not devote the day to him and his children. Planning a special Father's Day that will include the kids will help to make it a memorable one for sure. There are several things you can do when planning to spend Father's Day with the children here are a few ideas:

Start the day off right!
Get the whole family in the mood for Father's Day by getting up early an cooking a big breakfast that includes Dad's favorite foods. This is a great way to get everyone in the mood, up and ready for the big day ahead. Plus, it's a great way to treat Dad as well since you are cooking his favorite breakfast foods.

In the event that cooking won't fit into your schedule, stop by his favorite breakfast restaurant and treat him there. Either way, the family will be full, and ready for the long, day ahead.

Fishing Trip
If your special Dad loves to fish then take him and the kids out on a fishing trip. Either pack up the boat and hit his favorite fishing hole, or leave it to the professionals and go on a chartered fishing boat. Chartered fishing boats are always a great idea because the crew does the work while you and the children have fun.

A Day On the Green
Taking your Golfing Guru out for a day of family golf is another great way to treat dad. After breakfast, pack the kids and the golf clubs and go for the green! The children will enjoy the time spent together and Dad will enjoy his favorite sport.

Picnic
If Dad is not a sports fan, no problem! Pack a nice picnic lunch, go to your favorite location like a lake, the beach, a mountain or park and enjoy a picnic together. Take along a ball, Frisbee and other fun things to do while out. This is also a great time to present Dad with his gifts! The children will love playing and spending time with Dad.

Museum
Depending on what Dad finds interesting, planning a trip to a local museum can be fun and educational for both Dad and the children. Whether it's an Indian artifact museum or a trip to Ripley's Believe it or Not, there will be lots of fun involved.

Finish the day off.
Finish the day off with a Dad's favorite dinner. Whether you and children prepare his favorite recipe or you take him out to his favorite restaurant it will be a great way to end the evening. Follow it off with a beautiful view of the sunset and trip by the movie store to rent Dad's favorite family movie.

Go home and spend the rest of the night relaxing. If the children aren't quite ready for bed or the nights still young pull out the
