So your father's a bookworm? Congratulations. Your local bookstore or favorite online store has you covered from front cover to back flap with great Father's Day gifts.

Whether your dad prefers fiction or non, humor or history, culinary arts or computers, books make great Father's Day gifts. When shopping for books, your choices are as plentiful as the titles that cover the shelves. And that may be the only drawback. To keep you from getting sidetracked or lost among the many offerings, use the following recommendations to keep you focused on finding that perfect book for your dad this year.

FOR THE FIRST-TIME FATHER

There are some wonderful book choices for the first time father on your gift list. Some are specifically for Dad and others are books that he can share with his new son or daughter. The book celebrates the bond between a father and his daughter, which is strengthened over the years by reading together.

"Daddy's Lullaby" by Tony Bradman is a new "board" version of a book that was previously released. This is one that Dad will want to read over time and again to his little one. It contains a sweet lullaby that expresses the love of a father: "Rock-a-bye baby, in Daddy's arms, Daddy will hold you, safe from all harm. Daddy will love you, and sing you to sleep, love you forever-a promise he'll keep."

GIFTS TO DAD FROM A YOUNG CHILD

"Whistling" by Elizabeth Partridge, with artwork by Anna Grossnickle Hines, is a story about a little boy on a camping trip with his dad. Jake's dad teaches him to "whistle the sun up" every morning. It's a touching tale of the bond between a father and child.

We are all familiar with the inquisitiveness of a young child's mind and their need for reassurance. "Papa, Do You Love Me?" by Barbara M. Jossee is set in Africa, where a young Maasai boy asks his father if he loves him. He then follows that question up with several other "what if" questions to ensure that his dad's
