He Knew You
He knew you before you were born,
planned out all the things He wanted you to do.
Before you entered your mother's womb,
your future large and bright did loom.
He knew you when everything you did,
was not righteous, good, or true.
Before you fell on your knees and cried,
help me, for I have surely tried.
He knew you when the bills weren't paid,
when the lights and gas were overdue.
But still He kept you through it all,
He provides for you and won't let you fall.
He knew you when all the money'd been spent,
and your boss decided you didn't need a job.
But there He was consoling your heart,
ask Him and receive a brand new start.
He knew you as if you were His only child,
loving you in a sweet, unconditional way.
Time and again He'll be there for you,
In tough times he'll always see you through.

Being Religious doesn't have to take much
