You are my everything
We spend long nights together, talking, planning, loving
I have deep concerns
These feelings are more than instinct.
I fear, I do not know you
You were my everything
You spent long nights with her, talking, planning, loving
I have no choice but to believe,
I do not know you
I have our baby
I know now I got the best part of you
Yet when she asks, I have to say
I do not know you.

Poetry: I do not know you
ON MY PARENTS' 57th ANNIVERSARY
The age-fog hangs in heavy drapes
Around my head, a cloudy gauze.
My memory of your love escapes
Through
by Jana Burgess
The man sits upon the concrete,
blind as he plays the chords.
Open is his case, was small change,
but you walk on by
by is window
I thought i held knowledge between these hands,
Picking up my memories that scatter to the ground,
See now all that is pain,
It
I brought you into this world, adored and loved you,
Gave you everything I could,
Suffered for my sin, yet I gave you life
by N. Cullen.
Walk in the room,
shoulders quiver,
the ground shakes.
Take a step toward me,
curving lips,
and hips.
"Hi" you say
with that too
