Summer is a time to fulfill the optimism promised by the Spring, and there are a number of ways for everyone to enjoy this time of sunshine. Everyone has different interests, though the Summer offers opportunity in so many directions for all age ranges, and the suggestions put forward in this article cover different ages, types of entertainment and enjoyment, and take account of cloudy days as well as those which give sunshine. Divided into different areas of enjoyment to suit all kind of people, the kind of activities people enjoy in the Summer include:

*Camping and sports.
*Hiking and enjoying the land.
*Beaches and seaside resorts.
*Family fun.

OUTDOOR AT HOME

No matter what your tastes are in outdoor adventure, the opportunities offered worldwide for people who want to make the most of the seasonal sunshine are numerous. The great outdoors has its advantages in that the feel good factor given off by the sunshine's vitamin D make this an ideal time to enjoy.

Not everyone can afford the luxury of holidays, though this should never put paid to the fun which can be had at home. The garden is a place of relaxation and also of activity. As the sun pours down on the earth which has been obscured by Winter and Spring, the fun you can have in a garden includes hobbies such as gardening. For the non gardener, how about making the garden into an area where the family can enjoy time together ? Setting up a barbecue is great fun, and inviting friends and family around for the afternoon doesn't involve too much cost.

Here, suggest each person coming brings either an outdoor game, or something towards the meal and the sharing experience is wonderful.

PLAY

Of course children want to be outdoors. The schools are on holiday and long summer days are what memories are made of. Encouraging the children to play outside can be just as enjoyable as playing those video games, if thought is put into what they can play and what is available for them. A holiday with relatives who live in the country is a great distraction for kids, who find their pleasure in tending the animals, playing great games of hide and seek, or building their first den together.

Children are easily amused, and given the tools and the opportunity can make brilliant fun out of building a den for their friends to share. If this isn't a possibility, there are simple garden games which are every bit as much fun. The fun a child has in their play is only limited by their imagination and your tolerance
