Poetry: Personal growth

Sometimes I've walked into the wind.
Knowing how hard it is, I go on.
For my entire life I have took the wrong way.
I stare against the current and jump towards it.
I always have.
Without question I go against what is right.
Until now.
Now I stop and watch the sunset.
I think about the future and the dreams it holds.
I write.
Life is precious and angels are real.
Even if you refuse to acknowledge, you know when it happens.
Knowing comes from the everyday when things change.
When you stop fighting and give in to what feels right.
Everything, not just one and the whole world seems brighter.
I walk with the wind.
It moves me as if I can fly.
I'm still scared, but happily.
We knew long ago and angels are always right.
Dreams are my path to a greater plan.
Happily scared of what cannot be understood.
I flow.
Drift down and am content.
Fear of broken dreams and lost love will not stop me.
God holds my hand and we smile.
I will ride the wind till the edge of the earth.
Being round maybe I will just keep going.
Round and round like a metronomes tick.
Thank you.
For now I sail like a bird and swim like a fish.
I am free.
