My Wardrobe
I wish I were inside-out and wore my emotions
like my favorite pair of jeans.
Depending on my mood I could look grungy or dressy
or happy or sad.
I would wear a frustrated shirt with tired pants
so that everyone would know to approach me carefully that day.
The only problem with wearing my emotions
is that showing them on the outside
has never been something I was able to do.

Poetry: Unlock
Death rode a long way,
to find me in the dream I had last night;
it glared at me with fearful eyes,
and breathe a dismal
whispering through the doorway
peaking through my keyhole
he wants me and I know it
but I won't let him in easily
he's cursing
by Jon Coe
Take your key, do what you will
its up to you to climb that hill
If you fall down and break your head
your heart will turn
The wind whispering through the
trees and all the forest trees
trembling on the branches.
A heavy pregnant greedy storm
clouds
I saw a heart.
Wanted it so.
I know it needs to open and grow.
I will find the right key.
I will unlock it for me.
Just watch
