Poetry: Childhood

by Kathleen Kirkland

Created on: June 07, 2008   Last Updated: June 10, 2008

Pink is for girls
who wear cute curls

Blue is for boys

They both wear gray

Oh, what would they do
if only they knew
they were destined to grow up
and choose one to drink with them
from the marriage cup?
