Poetry: Remembering

Remembering Life before I found Christ

Now that I look back and remember
I remember what hell my life was
I remember the days when I would
get beat
And I also remember how I used to
drink to get away from the pain
But the thing I remember the most
is the day that I got out of hell
and came into heaven
