Father's day comes around once every year. It is a special time for children and their dads. When this special day does come around, it is nice to show your dad, how much you really care about them, show them how thankful you are for them looking after and caring about you.
When you write on a card, or a note, or even on a tag that you put on his present, make sure that the message you write is special and comes from your heart. Make sure it means something between you and your dad, after all, he is a very special person.

A few nice quotes to write down for him could be:

'Anybody could be a Father, but it takes a real man to be a dad! And you are a real man!'

'Thanks dad, for always being there for me when I needed you, watching my back when I needed you to, thank you so much for all that you've done, take a break today because you really deserve one!'

'I never really show how much I love you, but I want you to know that I really do love you, I am grateful for everything you have done for me over these past years!'

'Take a break and relax dad, after all you deserve it!'

'I love you with all my heart dad, i just thought you should know'

On Father's day, treat your dad to a nice meal, cooked at home, or maybe just make him breakfast in bed, but whatever you decide to do for him, make sure you put all your heart into it. Make sure he knows how much you love him, and how grateful you really are. It's a day where you can thank your dad for all that he has done for you, it's a day off for him, let him relax and do the things he wants to for a change. It's a day to forget all your differences that you may have had, and most of all, it's a happy day for the both of you.

Show your dad just how much he means to you, explain that you would be lost without him, and you are really lucky to have a dad like him.

Having lost my dad quite a few years ago, there are so many things I wish I could have told him, so many things I wanted to say but didn't know how to put it, or didn't know if I was using the right words. Well, I realize now, that he already knew what I wanted to say, I proved it to him on that special day each year. I loved my dad with all my heart, and I wish he was still here so he could see what I'm making of myself, I know he'd be proud.

So make sure your dad knows how much you love him, because one day, you may regret not saying what you felt.
